The Miami Project assists foundations in structuring collaborative partnerships to help provide the critical support for its clinical and basic science research projects and programs. Many opportunities to support research are available. Grants may be designated for specific regenerative projects such as the Human Clinical Trials Initiative; for neuroprotection research (including the effects of hypothermia [cooling the body temperature] in providing important neuroprotective benefits to patients who have just suffered complete spinal cord injuries); or for rehabilitation research.
Unrestricted gifts can be used to accelerate the pace of cutting-edge research underway.
